The Past

 

The past of laptop the first concept for a mobile device was invented by Adam Osborne in the 1981 and the name given to it was the Osborne 1 , whilst not strictly a laptop it was this device that was the first to make a regular computer smaller for mobile usage . The first clamshell designed portable computer was designed by Grid Electronics by a man called William Moggridge. In 1979 he built a device that resembled the modern day laptop with a folding lid. It was in 1986 that a mainstream laptop, the IBM PC Convertible was released. This featured a range of features including a floppy disk drive and 256 Kbytes of RAM.

 The Present

In the present time Laptop has been developing at high speed, getting smaller, longer battery and graphics get better and attachment. There is an increase in different laptop brand such as Mac Book by Apple , Toshiba , Acer, IBM, Samsung ,Dell , HP Fujitsu ,Lenovo ,Panasonic and Sony .There are now a lot of laptop size such as Smaller than 12 in,12 to 13.9 in.,14 to 14.9 in.,15 to 16.9 in.17 in. or Larger.
